Casa Mimosa is in a quiet position on the Country Club with views from the terrace over the surrounding countryside. It has been equipped and furnished to a very high standard. The garden has sweet smelling lemon trees ideal for those seeking a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The bungalow is within walking distance of the excellant communal pool which is open in July and August. There are year-round tennis courts. Getting to and from the Country Club is easy now that a new network of motorways has been completed. It is only ten minutes to the nearest beach and the Sierra Espuna National Park can be reached in about half and hour. Murcia city can be reached in under an hour while the fine medieval town of Lorca is only 30 minutes away.

Casa Mimosa easy to find and is about 40 minutes drive from Murcia San Javier airport via toll motorway (4.85€). You can also reach us in under 90 minutes from Alicante airport. Easyjet, Jet2, Ryanair, Norwegian, BMIbaby and Monarch all have regular services from Britain, Ireland and Norway to San Javier.
We would say car hire is essential and good deals are available from Carjet. Also try Solmar, Auriga Crown, Centauro who all have offices at San Javier Airport.

The Costa Calida boasts a wide cross section of beaches ranging for wide long ones to intimate coves which are usually accessible via unmade roads.
It also boats one of Spain's major cities in Murcia city itself.
Although Mazarron is a former tin and mineral mining area like Cornwall its main attraction these days is the sea. All the main beaches such as Bolnuevo and Puerto do Mazarron have lifeguards at peak times and a number of water sports activities.
Further afield Murcia is a city of 422,000, making it about the size the size of Leeds. It boasts splendid Cathedral of Santa Maria. If you fancy something to eat or drink then the area in front of the Cathedral (Plaza Cardinal Beluga) has a number of cafes and restaurants.
Lorca is a lovely medieval city with a castle, cathedral and pedestrianised shopping area .
Cartegena's harbour is well worth a visit and offers boats trips across the bay.
La Manga is a built up holiday area about 40 minutes away. It is on the Mar Menor, a lagoon, that claims to be warmer than the med and offers all kinds of water sports activities.
If you prefer SCUBA diving head out towards the rocky crags towards Aguilas where a number of PADI schools operate.
Golf is the other growing interest in the area. Murcia claims to have 50 courses the nearest of which is only five minutes drive away at Camposol. The new Jack Nicklaus course, just ten minutes
